Ventola Projects to recognise the best in trade and export

A Leicester based company who is flying the flag for the region on an international level is set to be honoured at the Leicestershire Live Business Awards when they return in 2020.

A highlight on the region’s annual business calendar, the event returns to the Maher Centre in April next year bringing together companies of all sizes and types.

With 15 coveted awards on offer, there is plenty of opportunities for acknowledgment. Many of Leicester’s most successful businesses also operate on a national and even international scale and the ‘International Trade and Export’ award will go the way of one of these.

The winner of this award will go to a company who has generated substantial and sustained increases in their export activity with all areas of the business considered.

Each category at the awards has a sponsor who is responsible for deciding on the shortlisted finalists and eventual winner.

For this award this responsibility falls to specialists in electrical installations Ventola Projects. The company also provide LED lighting, shopfitting and building maintenance services in a variety of sectors.

Based in the heart of Leicester Ventola has worked on projects across the country as well as in the USA, Europe and the Middle East. With this in mind it makes it apt that the business has come on board as sponsors of this particular award.

Mick Ventola is the brand’s founder and he was quick to point out why they decided to come on board with the event.

“As a proud member of the Leicestershire business community, I feel the awards are a great way to promote what great achievements Leicester is capable of and what makes it a fabulous place to do business,” he said.

“Our winner will need to be a company capable of showing steady growth and investment in not only its local identity but also nationally and internationally.”

Ventola also has its own big plans for the next 12 months as Mick explained.

“Ventola projects have recently been nominated as a ‘Midlands Engine Export Champion’ with the support of HM Dept for International Trade,” he said.

“With this in mind we hope to enhance our offering this year with the support and guidance to those we’ll be meeting along this journey. There are great opportunities available in the international market even though at the moment it seems there’s so much doom and gloom being caused by Brexit uncertainty.”
