From businesses operating on a global scale, to those just starting out in the region, Leicester is well known for being the home of numerous companies.
And at the upcoming LeicestershireLive Business Awards many of the area’s most successful businesses will be acknowledged for their achievements over the past year.
Joining the night’s esteemed nominees will be a number of sponsors who have taken on a variety of roles during proceedings. This includes specialists in graphic design, printing and manufacturing Qualiflex Digital. Having come on board as event partners they are looking forward to sponsoring the event that takes place in April.
Charles Robey is Operations Director at Qualiflex and explained why they were keen to get involved with the awards.
“To have the opportunity to sponsor and support local businesses, local talent is a proud
achievement for Qualiflex Digital,” he said.
“In an ever-changing world where businesses need to adapt to change, adapt to diversity and then to inspire its talent to lead and develop is a value we all must share. The business awards recognise the success of individuals who have made the difference to their business and these values run through the veins of our business.”
Not only do the awards offer the chance for people to be acknowledged across 15 different categories, but they also provide invaluable networking opportunities.
Charles explained more: “In the world we live in businesses have become faceless due to
mobile phones, iPads, laptops and email.”
“Networking is one of the most vital skills all companies must have. Build relationships with customers, talk to them face to face, understand their needs and then deliver excellence and satisfaction. Networking simply builds relationships, gets people talking professionally and personally. It makes business interactive.”
Each category will have three finalists as well as the eventual winner with Charles quick to point out what benefits the award has for those involved.
“The LeicestershireLive Business Awards gives all the nominees a sense of purpose. It gives the
nominees the tools to showcase their talent,” he said.
“It enables them to network with their peers and inspire them to lead the businesses of the future. It shows them that a difference can be made and is achieved with determination, a business strategy and a plan to execute with their team.”
