The ‘Employer of the Year’ award will be given to a company who has demonstrated strong investment in their staff which could include reward schemes, and key employee benefits.
Giving their backing to this award is employee engagement company Growth Partners. The firm is dedicated to improving the lives of both employers and employees by creating a happier and healthier working culture. Their online platform provides people with a number of benefits and they work with a variety companies across the country.
Scott Read is the firm’s CEO and explained why they made the decision to become a category sponsor.
“We are delighted to be sponsoring the ‘Employer of the Year Award’ for the second year in a row. Last year was a brilliant showcase of talent, and this award in particular is important to us because it encompasses the values at the very heart of Growth Partners,” he said.
“We build smart and proactive technology that enables employers to craft rewarding environments for their teams to develop. Last year we were impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit shown as employers proved just how creative they could be in their bid to build Leicester’s best places of work! We have high hopes that this year’s event will be another inspirational showcase.”
As category sponsor it will be down to Growth Partners to decide on the three finalists and winner of this award with the firm currently in the process of making their decision.
Scott explained what they’ll be looking for from the winners of this category.
“Every business is different, every workplace unique, and so there are many questions that we consider. It’s no secret that businesses scoring high in employee satisfaction benefit greatly from improved commitment from staff, productivity and innovation and the ‘Employer of the Year Award’ values this,” he said.
“This award celebrates the top places to work for in the region, so this is what we’ll have in mind once the nominations are in. We’ll be looking for companies that go above and beyond to ensure that they’re maintaining inspirational, forward-thinking, mindful workplaces that empower their diverse teams to climb from strength to strength.”
