Global accountancy firm to celebrate customer service excellence at business awards
The saying goes that ‘the customer is always right’ and at this year’s LeicestershireLive Business Awards one business who take this sentiment to the next level will be honoured with a special prize.
The ‘Customer Service Excellence Award’ will recognise a company that makes customer service their priority during their day-to-day operations. One of 15 categories up for grabs on the night, the winner of this category will have a demonstrable examples of customer service excellence.
Each category has a sponsor who is responsible for deciding on the award’s three finalists and winner.
Giving their backing to this award is global audit, accounting and consulting group Mazars.
The firm are an international, integrated and independent firm who specialise in audits, accountancy, advisory, tax and legal services. Mazars can be found in 89 different countries and territories and are ranked as a top 10 accountancy firm here in the UK.
Bob Johnson is the Managing Partner at Mazars’ Leicester office and was keen to explain why they made the decision to sponsor this particular category.
“We are keen to promote the great businesses and people that we have in Leicestershire and the work that they do, which is pivotal to the prosperity of our wider community. As one of those Leicestershire businesses ourselves, we know that the way in which you do what you do is fundamentally why customers keep on returning – that is customer service,” he said.
“It is important that the great companies in our county continue to attract, engage with, and retain great customers from all over the world. Accordingly, we should recognise and celebrate their efforts and achievements and the LeicestershireLive Business Awards event a great way to do this.”
Mazars are also acting as Headline sponsors of the event and supporting the awards is not the only way in which the company make a difference in the regional business community as Bob discussed.
“We are a fast-growing business offering outstanding training, employment and career development opportunities from within a local office in the heart of the business community,” he said.
“This underpins our overall commitment to the Leicestershire marketplace, which is further evidenced by the support we give to our clients, the transactional activity we help to create and deliver, the time and effort we spend supporting local business initiatives as well as our patronage of a number of local charities such as AGE UK Leicestershire and Rutland, Rainbows Children’s Hospice and LOROS in particular.”
The awards take place this April at the city’s Maher Centre venue and promises to be the highlight of the business community’s calendar.
