“Every business should make entering awards part of its marketing strategy” says The Alternative Adviser

It isn’t every day that a business has the chance to sit back and look at the success it has achieved. But, according to the official event partner of the upcoming LeicestershireLive Business Awards, companies throughout the region should enter awards in order to do precisely that.

The Alternative Adviser is a financial consultancy firm that brings the truth about money to clients across the East Midlands.

The firm is headed by managing partner and financial expert, Anthony Clark, who explained how the awards, which take place on Thursday 23 April at the city’s Maher Centre benefit nominees.

“I believe that entering awards should be a part of everyone's marketing strategy. Even if a business doesn't make the shortlist, the application form alone gives them a beautiful opportunity to sit down and reflect on their achievements to date,” he said.

“Many business owners don't make time for that self-reflection because they're so busy targeting their next goal. But the entire awards process enables them to evaluate their business and see how far they have come. And, for the lucky few who do make it through to the finals, it's a golden marketing opportunity.”

Anthony explained why The Alternative Adviser made the decision to get behind the awards.

“The Alternative Adviser is incredibly proud to be associated with the LeicestershireLive Business Awards for the first time. We are looking forward to being part of something great that represents Leicestershire’s thriving business community,” he said.

I am confident the awards evening will be a fantastic event, not only because we will celebrate many successes, but also because we have the unique opportunity to connect with fellow business owners who share the common goal of building a stronger business community.”

With 15 awards up for grabs on the night, companies of all sizes and from a range of sectors will be acknowledged at the Maher Centre ceremony.

Anthony highlighted the importance of such events in delivering networking opportunities.

“I'm a big believer in how meeting people face-to-face helps build rapport and trust,” he said.

“That's why I always prefer to meet my clients in person and to take the opportunity to attend events like the LeicestershireLive Business Awards. Quite simply, networking like this helps build meaningful connections.”
